The pickup reproduces the full frequency range sound without additional resonances, revealing the full spectrum of overtones and colors that the guitar is capable of. The pickup allows getting a clear and smooth sound when using crunch or distortion. It has excellent dynamics and plays well on heavy rock riffs. It is perfectly readable in the mix. The pickup also allows clear sound to be recorded directly to the line input. The pickup is recommended for use with “humbucker plus humbucker” guitars in bridge position with the CC501A pickup in neck position.
The CC501A active pickup is the basic version for any style of music. It allows getting full sound from the guitar, using a minimum of additional equipment, and recording clear sound directly to the line-in input. The pickup reproduces the full frequency range without unwanted resonances, while revealing the entire gamut of overtones and colors. The guitar takes on a crystal clean and transparent sound, reminiscent of the sound of a good acoustic guitar. The pickup is suitable for installation in either a neck position or in a bridge position. In the bridge position, the pickup is best used on guitars with a single bridge humbucker, or with a bridge humbucker and neck single. On guitars equipped with a “humbucker plus humbucker”, this pickup is recommended to be installed in the neck position with the CC502A pickup in the bridge position.

The gain adjustment option allows installing the pickup in both bridge and neck positions, as well as making up a set “bridge plus neck” of two identical CC504AS pickups. Another advantage of the model is the ability to reduce the output impedance to 1 kOhm in order to use the 25 kOhm volume potentiometer without decreasing the signal amplitude from the pickup.

The output impedance can be reduced to 1 kOhm to use the 25 kOhm volume potentiometer without decreasing signal amplitude from the pickup.

CC401P is a passive pickup in humbucker cover. It gives a clear and transparent sound. The amplitude of the output signal is close to the usual single coil pickup. It sounds perfect on crunch. It does not catch electromagnetic noise under high gain. The pickup is intended to be used on guitars with “humbucker plus humbucker” in the neck position with the CC402P pickup in the bridge position. The set of CC402P + CC401P is recommended
CC402P is a passive pickup in humbucker cover. It has a smooth single-coil sound with a crisp mid-frequency harmonics. It is perfectly readable in the mix. It does not catch electromagnetic noise under high gain. Compared to model CC401P, it has a large output voltage amplitude. The pickup is suitable for bridge position on guitars with “humbucker plus humbucker” or “humbucker plus single”. The set of CC402P + CC401P is recommended.
